2018 Spelling Bee
On Tuesday, September 25th, Omega School held its 2nd annual Adult Spelling Bee fundraiser at Boardman Clark. There were five teams present including the 2017 champions, Promega Corporation. Additional teams were from Wisconsin Literacy, Boardman Clark, Esker and Madison College.
If you weren’t there, you might be curious to know what words were misspelled. The missed words: laburnums, suet, tumulus, and toccata. The winning team was Wisconsin Literacy with Boardman Clark coming in 2nd place! The final word for the win was gendarme.
The 2019 Omega School Spelling Bee will be Tuesday, September 24th so mark your calendars!
This fun event has grown in popularity and we expect next year to be even bigger. If you’d like to sponsor a team, please put us in your 2019 budget. Sponsorship for a team of 4 is $1,200. Email: om@omegaschool.org to save a space for your team.
