Alternatives in Adult Basic Education

Join us for Omega School’s first Homecoming Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 6:30 to 10:00 PM at CUNA Mutual Conference Center! All proceeds from this event will go to Omega School to support curricula revisions, facility updates, and staff training as a result of the 2014 implementation of computer-based GED testing.

This gala will also serve to honor Omega School Executive Director, Oscar Mireles for his twenty years of service, as well as other leaders who share in his longstanding dedication to the Madison community. The honorees are: Tom Moen, executive director of East Madison Community Center; Margaret “Meg” Miller, manager of The Respite Center at The Center for Families; Sharyl Kato, director of the Rainbow Project; Rev. Dr. Alex Gee, president of the Nehemiah Community Development Corporation, and Leslie Ann Howard, president and CEO of the United Way of Dane County.
