  • Pre-GED Program

The Pre-GED Program provides services to those students who need to increase their reading and math skills in order to begin working on their GED. Some students have learning differences which require more direct instruction from a teacher. The Pre-GED Program provides this opportunity. The increased use of volunteers in the program helped Omega School to continue to provide individualized instruction.

    Spanish GED/HSED Program

The Spanish GED/HSED program parallels the HSED/GED program by providing instruction, tutoring and GED/HSED preparation materials in Spanish.

  • GED/HSED Basic Skills Program

The GED/HSED program helps prepare student to earn their HSED (high school equivalent degree) or GED (general education degree) credentials by showing competency in academic areas including social studies, science, writing skills, mathematics and reading. Those wishing to obtain an HSED also need to show competency in the areas of health and civics by passing additional exams or having the necessary high school courses on their transcript.
